Senior to Senior
Our department started a, "Senior to Senior", program. This program will allow citizens of Queen Anne's County who are 60 years of age or older, to adopt any animal from our shelter and we will waive the adoption fee. The only cost to the adopter will be for microchipping, rabies vaccination, dog license, and spay / neuter fees. This program will also be extended to all that wish to adopt an animal that is 6 years old or older, or any animal deemed to be a special needs animal. Please stop by the Shelter or call us if you have any questions about thisexciting program.

Adoptions
Adopting a pet is a very serious endeavor. We must take our time and choose the pet that will fit into our lifestyle and our family. We have many older pets that are in need of a good home. Before you buy think about your local shelter !!! There are millions of pets each year that must be put to sleep because there are not enough good homes for them. Please help our shelter and shelters around the country work towards a day when there will be no more unwanted pets !!!
