Merry Meet!
This is the website of a Maltese Wiccan Coven: The Coven of the Whispering Moon.
Our Coven is the sister Coven of the Coven of the Children of the Silverlight which is one of the first Covens on our islands. The Coven of the Children of the Silverlight is led by Storm who is an experienced third degree witch who was mentored by the famous British witch and author, Kate West, of the Hearth of Hecate.
Due to the increase in interest in Wicca and pagan and nature based spirituality we felt the need to hive off into another Coven and in April 2009 the Coven of the Whispering Moon was established by Rain, Pan and Zephyrus.
Our Coven is a Traditional Coven, in that is based on a three degree system and it places a lot of importance on training, learning and spiritual development.
The High Priestess
The Coven leader is Raine who is a second degree initiate. Raine has been a witch for the past four years and is an active member in the local pagan community. She is the coordinator for the Pagan Federation International in Malta and the creator of two Maltese pagan websites geared at giving correct first hand information about paganism. She holds regular courses and workshops about paganism and other pagan related topics and she is also a qualified Reiki Healer, Reflexologist and Practitioner of Flower Remedies. Apart from Raine the Coven of the Whispering Moon is being co-led by two other witches; Pan and Zephyrus.
